🐧 BorderlessMaximizedWindows=true in KDE Plasma
I never knew there was such a thing as BorderlessMaximizedWindows=true in ~/.config/kwinrc!
As per the documentation that I never read, it's meant to “Hide titlebars when maximized (like Ubuntu).” Why Ubuntu?!
I encountered this stupid setting in Octlitch Linux. When a window gets close enough to the top of the screen to get automatically maximized, its titlebar disappears! It’s then somewhat difficult to drag it back to the non-maximized, titlebar-able state.
I learned about the existence of such a shit by discovering it in github.com/OctavianIlie/octlitch/blob/main/plasma/config/kwinrc.
BTW, dear Octavian Ilie, what did you smoke to come up with a name such as “Octlitch”?! I'm asking for a friend.
