Here’s the comic strip Blondie, by Dean Young & John Marshall, for the day of December 5, 2025:

Doesn’t it remind you of anything? You must be too young then.

The problem is, I thought the scene I had in mind of was from a movie, a rom-com or something. But Google and Bing didn’t help me identify it, so I turned to AI.

In long threads where I had to correct and contradict them, and to provide more details that didn’t help at all, Copilot, Claude, Mistral, Kimi failed to help me in finding it, despite the real answer, including the entire script, being online!

It’s a parody of a Mastercard commercial around the “priceless” campaign: Indecent Proposal (2001 short, writer and director Scott Quigley). There’s even a detailed storyline!

(Tagline) Night out on the town: $75.

(Boy — Matthew Prater) “So.”

(Girl, smiling — Joy Christie Di Cresce) “So?”

(Boy) “So, how about a blowjob?”

(Tagline) Getting the nerve to ask such a question: $12 bottle of wine.

(Girl) “Are you crazy? My parents might see it!”

(Boy) “C’mon, who’s gonna see us at this hour? I’ll return the favor.”

(Girl) “Wait! Do you imagine if we got caught? Oh, my God, what my dad could do to you!”

(Boy) “There’s nobody around, everybody is asleep!”

(Girl) “No, wait! It’s way too risky!”

(Boy) “Please… I love you so much!”

(Tagline) Actually using a line like that: another $12 bottle of wine.

(Girl) “I just can’t.”

(Boy) “Please?”

(The porch light goes on. The big sister opens the door.)

(Sister — Marla Altschuler) “Dad says to go ahead and give him a blowjob. Or I can do it. If need be, he can come down himself and do it. But, for God’s sake, tell him to take his hand off the intercom!”

(Tagline) Having a girlfriend whose* father has a sense of humor: PRICELESS. There’s something money can’t buy. For everything else, there’s Mastercard.

(*whose is wrongly spelled who’s)

Bar for some IT-related shit, AI is completely useless. I don’t even remember how I managed to find the answer! Now that I told those chatbots what it was all about, I wonder whether they learned something.
