It’s the worst f***ing browser on Android. RAM optimization is so bad, it made me question my phone’s ability to run a browser!!!!

Add-ons: uBlock Origin, Google Search Fixer, YouTube High Definition.
Mozilla account for synchronization (send tab to device).

I’m stuck with it because of all the features you mentioned. I use “Send All Tabs” to my pc all the time.
But it instantly reloads my tabs when I switch to any other app more often than any other browser.
Idk what to do – don’t like Brave given as a choice either.

People are commenting fixes for different skins of Android but dos not seem to face the same issue on Chromium-based browsers.
All true, but in today’s phones that is not an issue. The fact that Firefox for Android is not as secure as the Chromium is the only genuine pitfall.
But if we want a different internet, then programmers or even investors see that there is a demand for an alternative to Chromium-based browsers, this is it! If we all resort to Chromium, no one will even feel motivated to do an alternative, and more and more challenging will be to compete with Chrome.
Use Waterfox !!
To which Firefox version does Waterfox 6.7.1.1 correspond? This lack of transparency is annoying.
Debian 13 is still on Firefox ESR 140, but I fear the day (soon!) when it will switch to ESR 153.
Firefox 150+ on Windows proved to be catastrophic.
There’s actually no information about that connection, and it actually surprised me. I haven’t tried looking for this information on Librewolf, I don’t know if it exists. Have you tried? I’m also using Vivaldi, both mobile and desktop, and although it’s quite heavy even compared to Chrome, I appreciate it for its many options. In this case, the connection to the Chromium version is explicitly reported. Is this a good sign?
LibreWolf instead. It follows Firefox precisely and is released just a few days after it. It is Firefox, except there is not an ESR version.

I don’t know, maybe or maybe not, with the modifications (the improvements 😉) made. I was simply responding in relation to Waterfox.
