I tried to ignore the stupid Automattic vs. WP Engine feud that poisoned the community of WP users. You can read a bit about this conflict here and here, among many other places. What bothers me that with almost each new major release, WordPress breaks something (it happened to me at least twice), because the retards who take design decisions are incredibly stupid.

With the release of 6.7, one of the visible changes is, as described in their shitty announcement, this one:

Prioritizing publishing buttons in the editor

There’s a handy UI change to the publishing toolbar coming with WordPress 6.7: updated locations for the Publish, Save, and Trash buttons. The Publish and Save buttons have been moved to the farthest righthand side of the publishing toolbar, making it easier and more efficient to accomplish these frequent steps in the publishing workflow. 

Nope, this isn’t the proper way to describe such shit. It’s quite the opposite of what’s happening!

What’s happening is that you cannot have anymore the Save button in the Post/View right-hand side panel. You either have the Post/View right-hand side panel, or the Save button, but not both!

There have been countless reports and complaints about this change. Two random ones:

One thing I’d like to mention—and I urge you not to think of it as xenophobic or racist—is that, almost every single time when, on an official support forum of an important software product (it can be Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, WordPress, or just about anything), some retard rushes to “give help” by posting a useless boilerplate nonsense, that person is an Indian!

In the case of the second link above, read what Bhavik Panchal and Mayuri Patel have posted. But really, go anywhere, and you’ll notice how people who didn’t understand what the problem is, who did nothing to try to reproduce the situation, and who generally are as incompetent and retarded as your average call center moron, jump in to “help” or “solve the situation” while in fact implying that there’s no bug, and that by resetting the settings and clearing the cache, if not by reinstalling the product, your problem is gone!

■ First question: Are intellectual fraud and mental retardation that much prevalent among Indians?

■ Second question: Regardless of the answer to the above question, why is everybody using such retards for technical support?

■ Third question: Is Automattic using a UX (user experience) individual for WordPress, or at least do they use a product manager?

■ Fourth question: How does Automattic manage to counterselect the most incompetent, if not retarded, individuals for such positions?

■ Fifth and final question: Generally, WHAT THE FUCK IS EVERYBODY SMOKING so that they cannot release a major version of ANYTHING that only has bug fixes and performance improvements, but IT MUST HAVE DISRUPTIVE CHANGES that cannot be reversed by changing a parameter in the settings?
