They say motivation to write comes through writing. Or comes by writing, or comes when you write, cause my english is feebly.
It’s pretty much useless to have a blog nowadays. I’ve never tried to monetize it and, besides, people mostly read Facebook and follow YouTube channels (YT can be profitable to famous vloggers, but it’s a crappy way of doing things).
What I should do is to write a book. It should however need to be written in English, to treat too many topics and issues, and it certainly won’t sell much. Who reads books nowadays? (OK, Yuval Noah Harari’s books have been successful, but who am I to imagine people would read me?) Besides, my opinions would be difficult to accept by most people, so I’d be hated by both left-wingers and libertarians, and also by all kind of narrow-minded plebeians, despite the fact that I would find valid points in both liberal and conservative camps. It’s only that people are not ready to give up dogmas and to face the reality as it is. So, again, Yuval Noah Harari’s books are very mild compared to what I’d write, should I be able to do it.
The way out is obvious: write fiction, e.g. the next “Fifty shades of grey”, the market seems ripe for this stuff, who knows 😛
Fifty shades of shit…
fifty shades of $$$
