The Guardian, on Facebook, promoting the article Brigitte Bardot was a zeitgeist-force and France’s most sensational export, got such comments:

Louise Leite: “She later wrote that her son was a “cancerous tumor” and that she would have “preferred to give birth to a little dog”. She also added, “I’m not made to be a mother.”

Oluf Steen Carstensen: In Denmark, and especially Greenland, she is remembered for destroying the economic foundation of the livelihood of the indigenous people in Greenland, as she was fighting the brutal killing of baby seals in Canada, not distinguishing it from the sustainable centuries long culture of hunting adult seals and using their skins for clothing in much of Europe.
Of course she is also remembered for being an extremely attractive film star, which is the side most other people remember.

My reply: The most sustainable thing would be to kill these 2500 retards: “Around 150,000 seals are hunted annually and seal meat is still eaten by a large proportion of the population. For many of the approx. 2,500 full-time hunters, seal skin is their main source of income.”

Nigel Womblesmith: She is also remembered for being a racist, homophobic, criminal bigot who abandoned her own son calling him a cancerous tumour.

Eugene Onegin: Finally went home to hell.

Jorunn Richardsen: She was a totally insane woman.

Kelian Aicardi – Illustrateur: and she was actively anti-ecology.

Chaz Baker: Too bad she thought animals were more deserving of sympathy than people of color.

Eivind Gjengstø Johansen: While pregnant with her son Nicolas, she called the fetus a “cancerous tumor” and said she repeatedly punched herself in the stomach to end the pregnancy. During the press conference for her 1996 autobiography, she double-down on this claim and stated she “would have preferred to give birth to a little dog.” Her son later sued her for emotional distress.

Shane Salisbury: While many applaud her animal rights work, one should remeber she was fined tens of thousands of euros for saying France is being invaded by Muslims. Multiple times she was fined for hate speech. Beautiful and just as extraordinarily brave.

Kareem La Vaullée: she was a fascist racist homophobic and heinous person.

Peter Baglioni: yes, she loved Le Pen!😱

SallyAnn Wakeford: I would have enjoyed an article on the humane side if this interesting actress.

Louise Leite: Did she have one???

Terto Ngiviu: Finally! Not to forget the damage she did for our heritage!!

John Andrew Hird: So farewell then #BrigitteBardot Animal ‘lover’, committed racist and homophobe. Good looks can’t hide the ugliness inside “La beauté s’estompe”. C’est la vie… EJ Beauvoir (Âgé de 91 ans et demi).

Clay Hues-Bait: Une facho de moins ! Champagne !

Biggerstaff Elliot: Nope. Brigitte Bardot became known for her far-right political views, inflammatory comments on immigration, Islam, and homosexuality, and was convicted multiple times for inciting racial hatred, aligning her with extreme right-wing sentiments, though she was also a famous animal rights activist. She expressed support for France’s National Front (FN) and linked animal welfare with anti-immigrant views, leading to numerous legal issues for her outspoken remarks.

Billy Q. Smith: Brigitte Bardot was a despicable person. She was convicted multiple times in French courts for inciting racial hatred. The woman said some horrible things. Furthermore, Bardot’s behavior towards her son was often vile, beginning with her pregnancy (which she described as an “illness”).

Ross Greenshields: Was she not a fascist?

Jane Bee: Oui.

Simon Helm: she absolutely was.

Donna Pieters: Convicted of ‘Incitement to Racism’ on six occasions.

Simon Helm: She was pretty and she liked animals. She also hated immigrants, LBQT+, and the unemployed.

Cecilia Fonseca: because of this, she was dead to me for a very long time.

Kim Strimlan Northrop: Brigitte Bardot was big time Far-Right racist, homophobe, anti-immigrant, anti-Muslim – so much so that she was convicted and fined multiple times for inciting racial hatred – she ridiculed actresses claiming to have been victims of sexual assault, and said horrible things about her only child, including that her son was a “cancerous tumor” and that she would have “preferred to give birth to a little dog”. RIP? Maybe sometimes it’s just better to say nothing…

Kevin Cressard Fitzpatrick: Brigitte Bardot On Muslims

  • “I am against the Islamisation of France! Our ancestors, our grandfathers, our fathers have for centuries given their lives to push out successive invaders.”
  • “I like Marine (Le Pen, the leader of the French far-right) a lot. I won’t hide it. She is the only woman … who has balls.”

Dee Berlina: Defender of sex pests and the patriarchy and all the rest.

Nafiul Thakur Islam: A feckkng racist Islamophobe. Good riddance!

Maher Qutob: R.I.H., Brigitte Bardot. She showed compassion to animals while denying dignity to millions of Muslims. History should remember both.

Jonathan T. Reich: 5 convictions for inciting racial hatred.

Ali Hasan: Brigitte Bardot was an Islamophobe. She repeatedly made anti-Muslim and anti-Islam statements so extreme that French courts convicted her multiple times for inciting racial hatred. This was not an isolated lapse or a misunderstood provocation: it was a long, documented pattern of sustained public hostility toward Muslims, expressed in language that crossed France’s legal threshold for racist incitement.
In her final years, Bardot also positioned herself openly against the #MeToo movement. Before Gérard Depardieu was convicted earlier this year of sexually assaulting two women during a 2021 film shoot, Bardot defended him and dismissed the allegations in crude terms, praising what she called “talented people who grab a girl’s bottom.” In her last television interview, she rejected feminism outright—“Feminism isn’t my thing … I like men”—and when it was pointed out that someone can be both feminist and like men, she shouted: “No!”

Medha Singh: She was a fascist: https://www.lemonde.fr/en/obituaries/article/2025/12/28/brigitte-bardot-s-30-years-of-sympathy-for-the-far-right_6748895_15.html

Yvonne Bladlund: Facist.

Rich Rodrigue: Sensational racist. https://www.vanityfair.com/style/2021/11/brigitte-bardot-fined-for-inciting-racial-hatred

Note how people from Denmark and Greenland are rabidly defending their “heritage” and barbaric habits. The Kingdom of Denmark also includes the self-governing archipelago of the Faroe Islands, where another barbaric tradition is perpetuated: the grindadráp, a centuries-old practice of driving pods of pilot whales and dolphins into shallow bays and slaughtering them for meat and blubber.

BB wasn’t the only French star accused of fascism and “incitement to racism” or racial hatred or whatever shit they came up with. From Alain Delon to Michel Galabru, there were some other famous cases, too. This is what happens when the State abdicates from its duties of ensuring and safeguarding the public order: when the law is selectively disregarded by members of specific communities, those communities get collectively blamed. Instead of criminalizing free speech, the French Republic, as well as other European countries where uncontrolled immigration has led to both public insecurity and the rise of the far-right, should make sure that the law is enforced everywhere and for everyone!

On #MeToo: While certain cases were certainly a source for legitimate public outrage, the movement per se became a woke means to distort and misrepresent the reality. Unless you were underage, or unless you have been sexually abused by a chief of state or anyone with such high powers that complaining would have been futile, in such cases the only reasonable recourse is to complain to the police right then, not 15 or 20 years later! Many “easy women” actually enjoyed “la promotion canapé” (getting promoted by sleeping with the boss), and it’s so hypocritical to complain decades later for something you agreed with at the time! Besides, it’s impossible to prove anything that much later, so such complaints should be treated as libel. Instead of a fair approach, personalities are canceled, and they lose their contracts without any recourse to a court!

BB of the late years wasn’t that BB of the 1950s and 1960s (most notably since the 1956 film Et Dieu… créa la femme). And even back then, she was a sexual animal who enjoyed her eroticism. But she was within her rights as a human being and as a person, and she certainly didn’t deserve so much hatred.

“Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” (John 8:7)

Adieu.
